About your role
As a lawyer in our Technology & Data Protection and/or Telecom &Media Teams, you will play a key role in our assistance to clients whose work is closely related to the newest developments in technology: from some of the biggest companies in the world to innovative start-ups. You will also represent and advise on data protection matters clients from a wide variety of industries. Your responsibilities will require work on technology agreements (from global technology outsourcings, strategic IT contracts and cloud solutions to software development, licensing and maintenance agreements, general terms and conditions), preparation and revision of different types of privacy documentation, advice on arrangement of relations with variety of parties such as clients, consumers, employees, job candidates, business partners and many others, regulatory matters in the area of media and telecom, legal privacy by design advice on business model set up plus implementation of digital transformation processes such as artificial intelligence, e-signatures, e-document, e-commerce, e-health and others, advice on the possible implications of chosen solutions, risk assessments, cybersecurity matters, as well as representation before administrative and judicial authorities in Bulgaria. Due to the diversity of the business of our clients, you will be expected to maintain a cross-sectoral expertise in a broad range of legal areas and industries, with particular focus on EU law.

Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law
- Strong academic record
- Fluency in English
- At least two years of experience as a lawyer
- Very good grasp of civil law, contractual and commercial law, administrative law and procedure
Any of the following would be considered advantages:
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: data protection, consumer protection, telecom, media, electronic commerce, electronic trust services, fintech services, legal and ethical requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, constitutional law and fundamental rights, IP law or EU law
- Fluency in other languages
- More than 4 years of experience practicing law after graduation
- Experience on cross-border contentious matters
- Experience in working in a corporate environment
- Experience with the use of LLM based tools (ChatGPT, Bard, Harvey, etc.) and prompting
