About your role
As a Lawyer in our IP Law Team you will provide various legal services to a diverse client base, ranging from young entrepreneurial businesses to substantial public and private corporations. The role will involve supporting the partners, working with other fee-earners, delegating work, and supervising junior lawyers. Most of the legal work will be related to intellectual property consultancy (including trademark prosecution and litigation, copyright licencing, IP due diligence and cross-border transactional work). Responsibilities often require providing advice on competition law, consumer regulations, ICT law and data protection, employment, distribution, franchising and licencing contracts, as well as on various industry-specific regulations. Clients you will advise come from a wide variety of industries – pharma, IT, telecom, gambling, media, tourism, transport, manufacturing, banking, fintech, consumer electronics, etc.

Candidate profile and requirements
- Master’s degree in law
- Strong academic record
- Fluency in English
- At least two years of experience as a lawyer
- Any of the following would be considered an advantage:
- ~~Fluency in other languages
- ~~ 2 or more years ofexperience in the area of intellectual property law (trademarks, designs, copyright and neighbouring rights, patents, etc.)
- ~~More than 5 years of legal experience
- ~~Experience in international law firm(s) or in in-house team(s) of large corporation(s)
- ~~Experience in the areas of life sciences, competition/antitrust, information technology, TMT, М&А and/or employment
- ~~Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, telecommunication, media, food production and processing, energy
- ~~Experience in dispute resolution, including regulatory litigation
- ~~LLM or other additional legal qualification from a respected foreign legal education provider
- ~~Qualification as an IP attorney registered with the Bulgarian Patent Office
