Global Data Review – the leading information source within the data law landscape – has recently released its new survey Women in Data 2019.
The survey features eminent female practitioners playing leading roles in the area of data protection and cybersecurity – many of them holding senior institutional and corporate positions around the world. Desislava Krusteva, а partner at DPC and head of the law firm’s Data Protection practice, has found her well-deserved place in this prestigious selection.
Being asked by the GDR’s editor to comment on the challenges she faces in her career, Desislava points out the necessity of “keeping up with the accelerating speed of business communications and the variety of new regulations”. Her advice to the global community of female privacy professionals is “to stay familiar with the emerging trends and technologies, never stop learning and always look for the best solution and advice for the client”.
Desislava Krusteva is an internationally recognised expert in the field of IT and Data Protection, IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Chair of the Bulgarian KnowledgeNet Chapter at the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
