Dimitrov, Petrov & Co. (DPC) advised Kolichka.bg Supermarket Online EOOD on the local aspects of an acquisition involving its parent company in the Czech Republic, where METRO AG acquired a 25% stake in Košík Holding. Košík Holding is part of Košík Group which operates an online eGrocery business and the transaction involved its subsidiaries in both the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
DPC team was instrumental in the setting up of Košík Group’s subsidiary in Bulgaria - Kolichka.bg Supermarket Online EOOD – back in the beginning of 2021. As part of the transaction, DPC was involved in supporting the client’s legal team and its legal advisors in the Czech Republic - White & Case – with the local aspects of the deal, specifically with the necessary steps and documentation required for the corporate restructuring of Kolichka.bg Supermarket Online EOOD and the registration of the corporate changes locally. DPC team working on the transaction was led by partner Zoya Todorova and included associates Rositsa Vasileva and Radina Tomanova.
