With a decision from the end of 2021 the Bulgarian competition authority has launched a sector inquiry into the e-commerce market of goods and services online

On 11 January 2022, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) published its judgement regarding the case of Ekimdzhiev and Others v. Bulgaria (No. 70078/12). The proceedings were brought in relation to the legal conditions for wiretapping and surveillance in Bulgaria.
