Ivan Alexander has extensive knowledge and practical experience in the fields of tax, capital markets, commercial and administrative law, as well as in legal representation. He was part of the team consulting a leading group of companies on the purchase and further lease to a licensed operator of a business jet. In this challenging case Ivan Alexander played a key role in the tax structuring not only of the purchase, but the entire organization of this new business line for the client.

Ivan Alexander was part of the team assisting a client with the procedure for acquiring an investment firm license before the Financial Supervision Commission under the new Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MIFID II). He actively assisted the structuring of the client’s future activities and drafted the necessary documents for the procedure taking in consideration the latest amendments introduced by the MIFID II and the Bulgarian legislation.

Ivan Alexander is a National Representative for Bulgaria of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). In 2023, Chambers and Partners Europe included Ivan Alexander in the prestigious ranking Associates to watch for his accomplishments in Tax.
