Viktoriya Veleva is an associate with over 6 years of professional experience. She has an LLM from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and а master's in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer from the Faculty of Economics of the same university – a programme conducted in cooperation with WIPO, EPO, EUIPO, USPTO & CEIPI.

She specializes in the field of technology law, including personal data, fintech and blockchain, as well as intellectual property. She advises leading international companies on a regular basis, including Google, on data protection issues, advertising requirements, and local compliance.

Her internship at the European Commission's Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) has helped her gain project management experience that proves extremely useful in balancing the legal and business sides of each case.

In her past experience as a legal consultant of the Balkan Blockchain Association, Viktoriya has contributed to the activities of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) in the field of blockchain technologies and their regulation at regional level.

She has significant experience as a lecturer and guest lecturer on topics related to personal data and intellectual property at seminars, training courses and universities, including the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University and University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.
